at the Martin Luther University in Halle 11. – 14. January 2021

The approval of the Erasmus+ project Digital Competences in Teacher Education (DiCoTe) opens up the possibility for teacher education in Halle to see the topic of digitalisation from a European perspective. Under regular conditions we would have been able to welcome our partners from Graz and Tartu at the Martin-Luther University in Halle personally. However Covid-19 still severely restricts European mobility at the beginning of 2021, so our kick-off meeting was digital. 

In addition to getting to know each other, the focus was on gaining an insight into the current state of digital teacher education in Halle. In exchange with the experts from Graz and Tartu our team was able to specify the design options within the framework of DiCoTe. By the end of the project period in 2022 they should have been a collection of successful practical examples and they will be ready for further use in the field of teacher education.
